A portion of Frager Road will be closed during the next phase of the Downey Farmstead Restoration project, the City of Kent recently announced.

Here’s more from the city:

“The Downey Farmstead Restoration project is entering the next phase of work, the relocation of Frager Road. A contractor for the City will be grinding up the existing roadway and utilizing this material as material for the new Frager Road. This will necessitate closing the portion of Frager Road between the SR 516 overpass and the south end of the Old Fishing Hole park.

“The contractor has been granted 90 working days to complete this project, and we anticipate that the road closure will begin on or about June 1st.

“If you have any questions or comments regarding this matter, please contact me at 253-856-5551 or via email at [email protected].”
