We look forward to summer – it is full of fun, it’s a time to take trips and have some adventures. While we’re enjoying summer weather, having a blast seeing new places and meeting new people, we might discover something we did not expect: ourselves!
Please join Kent Evening Toastmasters on Wednesday May 22nd for our open house to begin your journey to learn new things about yourself. Our theme, Summer of Self-Discovery, may be the catalyst you need to begin your next adventure!
Our keynote speaker is Todd Alan Cudaback, from the nationally acclaimed talk radio show Life Mastery Radio with Todd Alan. Todd has been a member of Toastmasters for 10 years yet he can remember what it was like struggling to create a speech. Sometimes he would have to craft one with very short notice. With some research and trial by fire Todd has formulated this presentation that will have you crafting extraordinary, clear, concise and compelling top-notch speeches in very little time, and that will get results.
The open house will be held at our regular meeting place, the Centennial Center (400 W. Gowe Street, Kent, WA 98032), starting at 6:30 p.m. on May 22nd.
The event is free and will feature other elements of a Toastmasters club meeting, including impromptu speaking and evaluations, in addition to the prepared speech delivered by our keynote speaker. We’re excited to meet you!
