Kent Police officers responded to a report of a shooting at Kent Station around 12:40 p.m. on Monday, Mar. 11, and found an 18-year old male victim located inside a store with gunshot wounds to his arm and abdomen.

He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

A Kent Police K9 and Kent Officers responded to the scene to look for the suspect(s). During the K9 track two subjects were located and arrested based on warrants for their arrest. It is unclear if they are associated with this shooting incident.

Kent Detectives responded to the scene to take over the investigation. The events leading up to the shooting at this time are unknown, but it does not appear to be random act. They are continuing to collect evidence and talk with witnesses.

James Street from 4th Ave to Central Ave was closed for a while.
