The Kent Chamber of Commerce’s September Membership Luncheon – set for Wednesday, Sept. 5 – will focus on Economic Development, with a special emphasis on the ‘Meet Me on Meeker’ project.

The luncheon will run from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Golden Steer Steak n’ Rib House (map below).

The speaker will be Bill Ellis, Economic Development Manager with the City of Kent.

“Join us on September 5th to network with fellow business leaders, enjoy a delicious lunch and hear about the positive expansion & economic development going on in Kent.”

The presentation will focus on the project to redesign Meeker Street, called “Meet Me on Meeker,” which “seeks to reimagine a key commercial corridor and gateway to our downtown into a multimodal, urban complete street with a strong sense of place.”

NOTE: As usual, ILoveKent.net will be doing a live Facebook video stream of this luncheon, so if you can’t make it in person, you can watch it online free by “Liking” us here (you’ll get an alert when we go live):
