From our sister site The B-Town (Burien) Blog:

WABI Burien’s  “turf” is the Airport Cities: Burien, Tukwila, Normandy Park, SeaTac and Des Moines.

But we have regular walkers from all over – as far away as Auburn, Federal Way…even Redmond and Tacoma.

We also encourage you to explore South King County by checking out other community walking groups. One group is sponsored by the City of Kent. Chris Ensor at [email protected] leads a walk from various meeting spots (usually parks) in the Kent area one Sunday a month (date and place vary).

Chris has a walk coming up this Sunday, July 8 at 2 pm, exploring trails at Clark Lake Park. The meeting place is Wilson Play Fields, 13028 SE 251st Street in Kent. No pre-registration is needed. Just show up!

Chris also organizes two self-guided walks each month, typically on Wednesdays, from 9-11 am. You get information about the route when you sign in at the designated meeting place, and then walk at your own pace.

For more information about upcoming walks in Kent, contact Chris Ensor at [email protected]
