The 11th – and Final – Kent 50 Plus Music and Art Showcase is set for Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Kent Senior Activity Center, located at 600 East Smith Street.
Originally known as the Jazz and Art Showcase, the event will feature free music concerts including Illusion of Elvis by Danny Vernon and The Devilles and a mini-piano concert by jazz pianist Richard Dean.
The Kent Valley Artists will also present a free Art Show and Exhibition while Stafford Suites offers free desserts. Mitzel’s Mobile Food Truck will provide discounted dinner items and other menu options.
In addition, information on health, housing and family services as well as corporate door prizes are provided by Arbor Village, ClearCaptions, Kent Reporter, Northwest Prime Time, Providence Health, SASH Realty/We Speak Medicare, Solstice Senior Living, United Healthcare, Village Concepts, Village Green, Weatherly Inn and Wesley Homes.
