Kent Cornucopia Days 5K run – coming Saturday, July 14 – will feature a flat, smooth course along the Green River Trail.

The event is perfect for those going for time or simply a morning walk.

It will run from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., starting at Three Friends Fishing Hole (19970 Russell Road; map below).

“We try to focus on the right things that make the event fun and safe,” Organizers said.

The cost is $10 for the run/walk only and $25 with a shirt. Fees go up by $10 on race day.

Participants age 60 and over run for free courtesy of Kent Bowl! (Add $15 for a shirt).
