A young girl was found floating face down in a pond near an apartment complex in Kent Sunday afternoon, April 8, Puget Sound Fire reports.
Authorities said that crews responded with Kent Police and Medic One to a 911 call at 4:10 p.m. about a young girl found face down in a pond in the 23600 block of Lakeside Boulevard E.
When crews arrived, they found police doing CPR on the patient. Firefighters and medics took over, and the victim was transported to a local hospital.
The patient’s age and current status is unknown.
How the girl ended up in the pond is also not yet known.
Kent police are investigating.
