The City Of Kent announced that it “needs to make some tough decisions about how to balance the need for more housing for Kent residents with the long-term benefits of preserving open space.”

City planners are working to come up with ideas for what to do with Kent’s “urban separators” – a type of land use meant to preserve open space and wildlife habitat, while allowing a small amount of housing:

Should the city change the rules to allow more housing, or should rules for these areas stay the way they are?

Your ideas will help City staff come up with policy options to recommend to the Kent City Council.
