The Kent Downtown Partnership Raptors will take on the City of Kent in a soccer match on Friday, March 2.

The scrimmage will start at 6 p.m. at the accesso ShoWare Center, where you can witness the young – and not so young – playing a soccer scrimmage game.

The teams will be made up of KDP members, board members, locals and family, playing against the City of Kent. The city team will include; City Council President Bill Boyce and Kelly Peterson, representing the Public Works Dept. Other names have yet to be revealed (perhaps as part of a strategy?).

KDP has secured Councilmember Toni Troutner, as she and her husband, Brett, have played on their team for the last two years.

Coaches for the teams will be Mayor Dana Ralph for the City team, and Barb Smith, Executive Director, for the KDP team.

For only $11 (plus tax and fees) you can cheer the teams on during the scrimmage game and watch the Pro’s (Tacoma Stars) play afterward. The Tacoma Stars allow family members to come down to the field and meet some of the players. WHAT A DEAL!!

“Please plan to come and cheer us all on, we would love to have an amazing crowd this year.”
