The Kent Black Action Commission will receive a Proclamation of Black History Month from the Kent City Council at their Tuesday night meeting.
The council meeting will start at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6 in the Kent City Hall Council Chambers, located at 220 4th Ave S.
According to their Facebook page, the Kent Black Action Commission’s mission is:
“Our mission is to improve and promote the social, economic, political, spiritual and educational conditions of the Black Community in Kent, Washington and the South King County region.”
