On November 21, 2017 at approximately 1:30 am, Kent patrol units responded to a report of gunshots being heard in the area of the 13100 block and SE 261st Pl.

Upon arrival, a 20 year old male victim was found shot and unresponsive. CPR was initiated; however the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers searched the area for the suspects but were unsuccessful in locating them. The suspect and another believed driver of a dark colored sedan fled the scene prior to the arrival of the Officers.

Investigators worked tirelessly on this case, corroborating information they received, and were able to positively identify the two male suspects involved. 18 year old suspect Hector Galeano turned himself in late last night and was taken into custody. The second suspect and driver, a 17 year old male, turned himself in today and is in custody.

Charges in this case are pending.
