Kent was ranked #1 for population growth

WalletHub has named Kent, Washington the second fastest-growing city of any size in the United States, and the second fastest-growing city in the mid-size city category (cities of 100,000 to 300,000 people.)

WalletHub analyzed 515 cities of different sizes based on 15 key criteria of growth and decline over the last seven years. Kent, Washington ranked in the top two, second only to Frisco, Texas. Kent ranked #1 for highest population growth.

Seattle ranked #4 in the large city category, Bellevue ranked #16 in the mid-size city category, and Federal Way was #98 in the small city category. Tacoma and Everett were ranked #144 and #145, respectively, in the mid-size city category.
