Ross Hardy to be sworn in Wednesday, October 25, 2017

Today the Kent School District announced that the Kent School Board has selected Ross Hardy to fill the district one vacated by Russell Hanscom this summer. Hardy will be sworn in next Wednesday, October 25 (7 p.m.) at the Kent School District Administration office.

With a master’s degree in business administration, Hardy works for Ernst and Young. He has three children in elementary school in the district, and he has been a foster parent for seven years. He is a member of the City of Kent Financial Sustainability Task Force and is involved with the Girl Scouts of Western Washington.

Hardy’s areas of focus will be inclusive leadership, resources and organizational framework.
