Bring the family to ShoWare Center for Free Family Fun
Join in the free family fun at the the seventh annual You, Me, We festival at ShoWare Center (625 W. James St., Kent, WA 98032) on Friday, January 27 (6 – 8:30 PM). A collaboration of many local organizations, this fun event celebrates the great work of local youth, teen and family resources that serve Kent.
You, Me, We also highlights the exceptional talent of young performers, singers and dancers. Doors open at 6 PM with youth and teen performances beginning at 6:30 PM, so arrive early.
In addition to the performances, family-friendly activities include:
- Interactive booths
- Hands-on art
- Journey to Wellness – healthy activities and education
- Sports competitions
- Bounce houses
- Games, contests, raffles and prizes
- Hot dogs and soda for $1 each
The event is put on by a collaboration of local organizations and community groups including the Kent Parks Department, Kent School District, Kent4Health, youth groups, sports organizations, churches, local businesses and service clubs. There is no charge for the event, except hot dogs and sodas, and parking is free.
