After a crazy week of election news, it is refreshing to see some good news. This news comes from a Naval Air Facility in Atsugi, Japan.

Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 27 Commanding Officer Cmdr. Daniel Cochran, from Kent, Washington, is greeted by family members as he returns to Naval Air Facility Atsugi from a patrol embarked aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76).

Ronald Reagan and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5, provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
