Mama Stortini’s Restaurant and Bar at Kent Station to Host June 3 Fundraising Event for Kent Youth
Kent, WA, May 14, 2009 – Mama Stortini’s Restaurant and Bar, Kent Station’s newest tenant, will host a fundraising benefit for Kent Youth and Family Services on Wednesday, June 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. The benefit will allow the community to preview Mama Stortini’s before it officially opens to the public for dinner the following evening, June 4. All proceeds raised from the event will be donated to Kent Youth and Families Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to bettering the lives of children, youth and their families in the Kent, Covington and South King County communities.
The fundraiser is a way for Mama Stortini’s Restaurant and Bar to introduce itself to the Kent community. Mama Stortini’s is donating food, beer, wine, service and location for the fundraiser and Kent Youth and Family Services will keep 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales. Kent Youth and Family Services provides professional counseling, education and support services to children, youth and their families.
