Washington Voters, watch your mailbox for your State of Washington Voter’s Pamphlet for the November 8, 2011 General Election, compliments of the Secretary of State’s Office. Included in this voting guide is information regarding Initiative Measures 1125, 1163, 1183 and Senate Join Resolutions 8205 and 8206. This particular guide, marked Edition 1, does not include information about the candidates who advanced from the August 2011 primary to the November 2011 general election.

The next General Election in Washington State is November 2, 2010. Registered voters should have received their Voters’ Pamphlet in the mail already, and ballots should be coming soon (mailed October 13). To ensure your vote is counted, be sure you return your mail in ballot by Tuesday, November 2, 2010.

In the state’s first “by mail only” General Election, completed ballots must be postmarked by Tuesday, November 3, 2009 to be considered in this fall’s election. Here is some additional info. provided by King County Elections. For more info., please call 206-296-VOTE (8683) or visit King County Elections online.

• Vote at your convenience.
• Return your ballot without postage at one of the ballot drop boxes* listed below by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3 or return it via postal mail. One first-class stamp is required.
• Mailed ballots must be postmarked by November 3 to be considered.
• Track your mail ballot packet online.

In response to possible flooding, the King County Elections office has moved. It is temporarily located in Tukwila near Boeing Field.
