The Kent Predators have made a commitment to the Kent Community to provide community service and they are keeping that promise by helping Food Lifeline collect food donations. The Kent Predators and Food Lifeline are coming together at the June 4th home to make a difference. The Predators will be collecting non-perishable food items from today through Friday. Look for collection bins all over Kent. If you are interested in having a collection bin placed at your location contact the Kent Predators by visiting http://kentpredators.com. All bulk donations will earn a special recognition announcement during the game. However, every donation large or small helps, so the Predators are offering $7.00 tickets or a free cowbell with any donation. See you at the game with your donation and help the Predators help Kent!

Nationwide Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive – Sat., May 8

The National Association of Letter Carriers, in conjunction with the U.S. Postal Service, will be collecting non-perishable food items this Saturday, May 8, 2010 during their normal delivery times. Please help families in need by collecting food for your local food bank and putting it by your mailbox by 8 a.m. this Saturday.
Suggested donations include:
- Canned meats and fish (e.g., tuna)
- Canned soup
- Juice
- Pasta
- Vegetables
- Cereal and rice
You can also give online at Food Lifeline or mail a donation to Food Lifeline, ATTN: Stamp, 1702 NE 150th St., Shoreline, WA 98155. 95% of each donation goes toward feeding hungry people. Every $1 feeds a family of 4.
