Kent, Washington, May 7, 2010 – For the third year in a row, Realtor® Marti Reeder of John L. Scott was named “Best Realtor” in the Kent Reporter’s 2010 Best of Kent contest. Nominees were selected by Kent Reporter’s readers who submitted ballots for their favorite Kent officials, business owners and volunteers. Reeder previously won the honor of “Best Realtor” in 2008 and 2009.

The award closely follows two other prestigious real estate awards, presented by John L. Scott. The first was the 2009 President’s Elite award, given to only 60 other sales associates in Western Washington. Reeder won the award for helping 24 families find homes in the Puget Sound area during 2009. The second award was the honor of being “Top Lister” at John L. Scott in Kent for the first quarter of 2010.

“The last couple of years in real estate have been challenging, so it is rewarding to be recognized for hanging in there as the market and the economy adjust,” Reeder said. “It is particularly heartwarming to be recognized by my clients and peers for providing good service in tough times. Kent, Washington, March 2, 2010–John L. Scott Associate Marti Reeder of Kent was one of 61 sales associates in Western Washington to win the prestigious “2009 President’s Elite” award. Reeder helped more than 28 families find the home of their dreams last year which played a part in helping her achieve this impressive honor. In a Tuesday ceremony, Reeder accepted the award personally from J. Lennox Scott, Chairman and CEO of John L. Scott Real Estate.

There are approximately 2,000 John L. Scott agents in Western Washington, so achieving this after only six years in the industry shows Reeder’s hard work and dedication to finding homes for her clients. She possesses the qualities needed to make home buying and selling easy, even in difficult financial times.
