Kent Parks seeking feedback on renovation of Kherson Park

Kent Parks want to hear from YOU! ?

We are excited to announce the concept design phase for the renovation of Kherson Park, located downtown at 307 West Gowe Street, is underway! The renovation is a joint project between the Parks, Recreation & Community Services (PRCS) and Economic & Community Development (ECD) Departments, and will celebrate Kent’s legacy of aero and outer space innovation by memorializing the City’s role in the development of the Lunar Roving Vehicle!

FUN FACT: The renovation will even include the installation of an interactive replica of the Lunar Rover and the life-size Astronaut figure currently on display at the ShoWare center! ?‍???
