UPDATE: Shooting at Kent Station was not random, police say

UPDATE: The Kent Police Department continues to investigate the shooting that occurred at Kent Station on Monday, Mar. 11, 2019, and they released the following update:

“The investigation has revealed that the two subjects who were detained and arrested on unrelated charges are now people of interest in this investigation. It appears this shooting is not random and is specific to those involved.

“Public safety remains a top priority as we continue to work with the City and Kent Station management.

“As Kent Detectives continue to investigate the incident, they are asking for anyone who has information regarding the incident or who witnessed the shooting to please call 911, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or the Kent Police Department tip line at 253-856-5808.”
