WEATHER ALERT: ‘Wind Advisory’ issued for Saturday

The National Weather Service has issued a ‘Wind Advisory‘ for Saturday, Dec. 29.

Experts are predicting southerly winds from 20–35 mph, with gusts between 45–55 mph.

The advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday.

“Winds may snap weak branches that have not been pruned by recent storms, produce isolated power outages, and make the driving of high-profile vehicles difficult.”

The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM to 4 PM PST Saturday.

* WIND…Southerly 20 to 35 mph with gusts 45 to 55 mph.

* SOME AFFECTED LOCATIONS…Port Townsend, Everett, Bremerton,
Seattle, Tacoma, La Push, Ocean Shores, Westport, and Hoquiam.

* TIMING…Mid morning Saturday through late Saturday afternoon. |
