High speed was definitely a factor in a dramatic, single car rollover crash on Pacific Highway at 260th on Wednesday morning, Sept. 5.

The crash closed down the road for around an hour.

Police say that the driver is a 21-year old Federal Way man.

There were two adult male passengers in the car, which was a 2011 Honda Civic.

The driver and both passengers received non life threatening injuries, and were transported to a local hospital.

Preliminary information for the cause of the crash is speed and the driver’s actions.

This is still under investigation as Traffic Investigators process the information gained from the scene and witnesses.

Driver was cooperative at the time of the accident.

“There’s a reason we have speed limits, this car decided to exceed them excessively and shut down parts of Pacific Highway for about an hour yesterday,” Kent Police said. “Drive Safe.”
