The King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting that a fiery, single-car crash early Wednesday morning (June 13) killed two near the 26800 block of E. Valley Highway in Auburn (map below).

Police say that they received a 911 call around 5:30 a.m. about a car on fire off the road.

“What we believe happened is a BMW M6 was northbound on E. Valley Road, and at around the 26800 block was speeding when the driver lost control of the vehicle driving off the road over an embankment, partially hitting a tree,” Sgt. Ryan Abbott told I Love Kent. “The entire vehicle caught on fire with two occupants inside, and they were both found deceased once the fire department arrived and was able to put out the fire.”

It is unknown if the occupants of the vehicle were male or female.

The King County Medical Examiner’s Office arrived and took the victims to their office for identification.
