The entire Kent School District community is invited to learn about keeping their students safe online on Tuesday, May 29, at Kentwood High School from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

The Internet and Social Media Safety Family Night will provide information on potential online risks based on what’s happening in our community before sharing strategies for managing technology and discussing this topic with children.

In addition to helping parents understand the common sites and incidents to be aware of at home, this event will also cover the various safeguards our district has in place to protect students using their district devices.

This free event is hosted in partnership by the Kent School District, Kent Youth and Family Services, and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Please find additional resources at CommonSenseMedia.org.
