Kent’s Community Garden Annual Spring Event will be held on Saturday, March 31, from 9 a.m. – Noon at the Community Garden.

“We want our gardeners to get a good start on the season, so we help create the access paths between the garden plots. Access paths are essential to any large garden. They ensure greater safety and mobility for everyone moving around, show plot boundaries clearly, and just look tidy!”

All ages and abilities welcome.

WHEN: Saturday, March 31, 2018, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: Community Garden, 64th Avenue South and West James Street, Kent, Washington 98032; Meet at the tool shed

WHAT TO BRING: personal refillable water bottle, snack, Minor Waiver Form if under 18 years old

Dress for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes or boots, with socks. No sandals or flip-flops allowed.

What We’ll Be Doing:

  • Spreading wood chips into paths between garden plots
  • We provide work gloves but if you prefer your own pair, bring them
