The King County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the young man who died as the result of fatal shooting on Wednesday night, Jan. 31as 19-year old Duane Tyson of Kent.
As we previously reported, Officers responded to the area of 10800 and SE 240th Street and discovered that Tyson had been shot in the upper torso, a 17-year old male that had also been shot, and another 17-year old male had been struck by a vehicle.
Medics and police provided immediate lifesaving efforts; however, the 19-year old male succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two males were stabilized and transported to Harborview to be treated for their injuries.
According to preliminary information, a dispute had erupted and resulted with gunshots being fired striking the two males. In the chaotic moments that followed, the third male was struck by a leaving vehicle.
