UPDATED–Oct. 20, 2017–Corrected ‘Skyline’ to ‘Skyway’

King County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying three men who pistol whipped and robbed a woman after breaking into her home in Skyway.

The crime happened Wednesday, Oct 18th, just before 1:00 pm at a house in the 11600 block of 59 Ave S. in Skyway. Surveillance video shows three men exit a car parked across the street from the house and walk towards the house.

The suspects walked around to the back of the house, kicked in the back door and entered the house. A 74-year-old woman who was home as the suspects entered tried to run out the front door. One of the suspects caught her; pistol whipped her with a handgun and held her mouth closed as she tried to scream. The two other suspects searched the house as the third suspect held the woman. The suspects fled after taking cash and jewelry from the residence.

Detectives believe the suspects may have been involved in an earlier burglary at the same house last month. No one was home at the time of that break-in.

Anybody with information can call the King County Sheriff‘s non emergency line at 206-296-3311 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
