The Community Employment Alliance honored its list of 2017 Outstanding Legislators this month.

The Outstanding Legislator Award honors the Washington State Legislators who have made exceptional efforts to support employment for people with disabilities.

Our very own Senator Karen Keiser of the 33rd Legislative District was one of the twelve named. Debbie Meyers, executive director of SKCAC had the honor of presenting Senator Keiser with the Legislator of the Year Award today, for her work and support for people with developmental disabilities in our State. She was an declared an Employment First Champion.

These Legislators have worked hard on behalf of people with disabilities throughout Washington State.
