At the Ridge Theatre is going to be presenting Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street from July 28 through August 13. Showtimes will vary, see At the Ridge’s website for more details. There will be a special midnight showing on Friday, August 5.
Sweeney Todd features music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and libretto by Hugh Wheeler.
The production will be directed by Jennifer Grajewski, who has been an award-winning director, as well as the founder of At the Ridge. At the Ridge’s mission is to provide arts education in the community, as well as provide quality entertainment experiences.
All profits from the production are given to the main stage actors in the form of college scholarships, and are presented in the names of Travis Britt and Marques Weekly, who both passed away at 19, and were members of ART.
Ticket prices will begin at $15 for reserved tickets, and can be purchased at Showtix4u, via searching Sweeney Todd.
