Mayor Cooke’s State of the City Address
Wednesday, March 9, 11:30 AM – 1 PM
ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.

The event cost is $30 per person, and will include lunch. Cost for Chamber Members is $20 if prepaid, and $25 at the door. There is no charge for attendees that wish to attend but forego lunch. All are required to register online.

Kent Rotary Escapades Dinner Auction
Saturday, March 12, 5:30-10:00 PM
ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.

This will be the Annual Rotary Club of Kent Dinner Auction. This year’s theme is Mardi Gras. Visit their website for more information.

Family Events

You, Me, We
Friday, March 4, 6 – 9 PM
ShoWare Center, 625 W. James St.

Join other Kent families for the sixth annual You, Me, We event at ShoWare Center. Activities will include interactive booths, hands-on-art activities, sports competitions, bounce houses, games, contest, raffles and prizes, and the Kent Food Bank will welcome canned food donations. There will be hot dogs and soda for $1. ShoWare Center’s upper level will be hosting Kent for Health’s Journey to Wellness, a colletion of interactive teaching booths featuring hands-on physical fitness and healthy eating activities.

Kent Kids’ Arts Day

$10 per child, adults and children under 2 are free

This annual event is a fun way to celebrate art with hands-on arts projects.

Third Thursday Art Walk
Thurs., March 17, 4 to 7:00 PM
Downtown Kent

Our Third Thursday Art Walks have been designed around the idea of creating a rich and diverse artistic experience in downtown Kent. Free kids art activity every month!

Have your map initialed by the artist at each stop and be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift certificate from one of our participating businesses. One entry per person and must go to every stop to qualify.

Join MEOW Cat Rescue at the Kent Mud Bay Store for Easter fun! MEOW will have adoptable kitties – all adoptions receive a special Easter Basket. PLUS an in-store Easter Egg Hunt for all of our two and four legged friends. Fun treats for the four-legged friends and prizes for their people.

WHL Playoffs
Seattle Thunderbirds vs. Prince George Cougars

Cheer on the Seattle Thunderbirds as they take on the Prince George Cougars in the WHL Playoffs. Games 1 and 2 are at ShoWare Center, Games 3 and 4 are at Prince George, and if needed, Games 5 and 7 will also be at ShoWare.
