I drove by Meeker today and almost crashed. Not ron. My daughter Shauna had just flow in late last night from the east coast and told me she heard that a Kentridge Basketball coach had died. As we drove by it hit me square in the face, it was Ron Colston- big, happy, full of %$#@, but a really, really nice guy. I played basketball fore many years at Seqoiua Jr High with him. Many times I (5’10″) had to gaurd him. My only defence was to run as fast all the time and yell at him to keep up. Time to head for the shower now, but the game will go on. JC

Such a loss to the community and school district. I heard about this from a friends daughter who goes to school at Meeker. I have grown up in the Kent School district myself graduating from KM in 97 and my brother as well in 00′ it was our honor to know Mr Colston as students then as an adult as parents. He will be greatly missed. Thoughts to his family.
