1. Get a seasonal flu shot when it’s available in your area.

2. Get the H1N1 flu vaccine if you’re in the priority group.

3. Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer often.

4. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

5. Keep common surfaces clean–like telephones, computer keyboards and doorknobs.

6. Cough into your sleeve or elbow to help stop the spread of germs.

7. Avoid close contact with sick people.

8. Exercise and eat a healthy diet.

9. Drink plenty of liquids.

10. Get plenty of rest.
