The Kent Downtown Partnership announced last week that Shindig, a new martini bar, has opened at 222 First Avenue South in downtown Kent. I hope to visit soon and post a review. If you beat me to it, please leave a comment!

I stopped by and reviewed it at Life in Kent, the livejournal community I maintain. Shindig is, in a word: Awesome.
My friend Paul and I went to Shindig and found it to be a real hidden gem in Kent. We met a nice couple there Guy and Jennifer and had some laughs with Dave the owner. It’s a classy place that has some tasty food too to go with whatever you’re drinking. The decor is open and a fantastic looking bar. I would recommend it to anyone to take your friends and head over to Shindig for a fun time.
I went to Shindig last night with my husband and it was AWESOME! The atmosphere is upbeat, the drinks are delicious and well priced, the antipasto plate was huge, the owner/bartender is extremely personable. I will definitely by back with my girls!
